Kris Mackie here reporting for duty from Edinburgh in bonny Scotland

Been playing Fleet Commander for over a year, started with a French edition as soon as it was released and promptly added a English copy as soon and they were available.

I use Google translate too. To translate some sentences, it's convenient (and i revise my english in the same time )

My French is pretty much non existent, might try learn some and make a trip to one of the organised games or maybe a launch event if there is one when the kickstarter ships.
