Special weapons on Battleship

I remembered the rule question from earlier today.

So here is the set up:

I have a Battleship with special weapon (let us say proton beam, as example).  I have two special dice results     and one    stored on my Command Board.

During my activation phase, I roll two more specials   and one    .

I use my two stored dice      and make an    attack with my proton beam; but can I then make a second attack    with my two dice     from the activation phase, during my same turn?

So can I use two attacks in the same turn?

As my english is poor, my answer will be short : yes, you make a special attack per 2 special results.

Note that you dont have to spend additional attack dice to activate your special weapon, only 2 special results are enough.

Thank you! Even with using that two attacks in one turn, my poor fleet still suffered terribly.

The use of special weapons is not enough to defeat. This is what makes the game rich in rebound and honors the know-how of the fleet commanders.
